What do you think?

Were Adam and Eve created with immune systems? If not, why not? If so, why so?

What do you think?

Well, I could go either way.
My argument for them not having them would be that God had made paradise for them, and they didn't need an amune system in the Garden.
My argument for would be that God made us so amazingly well, everything thought out, planned out, and working together. So, if we would ever need it, He would have given it to them.
Ultimately it really doesn't matter. God gives us what we need, when we need it, when we rely on Him.

Jeremiah says ,"uh, YES, because God created them, and they would have to have that".

I'm no scientist and don't really know much about this at all, but the logical argument that texaskris made is great. I'm leaning on "yes" though because I believe God created everything our bodies need to survive this planet. But... if there was no disease (like in before the FALL), then why would Adam and Eve have needed an immune system? Hmmmm...

I must sadly admit that I don't have a biblical response on this topic.

Question to Kris: Where in Jeremiah does it say that? Just curious.

What a RANDOM question! Good one!! :)

Jeremiah is our four year old.

The same one who heard the news report about the (made in China) Aqua dots that turn into a drug if ingested. And then he said, "What's up with China, first the dog food, then the lead in the paint, now the aqua dots? We need to go over there and attack them."

LOL! Well, I knew that was your son's name but never would have guessed that HE would say that! He's really something! Quite the prophet, I'd say!! :)

My uneducated guess would be that He created Adam and Eve with an immune system.

He created people and made it so we could choose Him or not. I think that was a critical part of original creation. So, with the ability to choose independence, we needed a way to cope in order to be brought back into dependence on Him.

Many more thoughts in my head but not sure how to write them at this time.
